Sunset Farewell at the Montage Resort

We started our virtual visit to The OC with Lotus tea at Saddleback Mountain at Sunrise.  I am choosing to close it with champagne and a tisane with the Sunset view from the beautiful Montage Resort grounds.

Thank you for joining me for this virtual adventure exploring The OC  with the little plum teapot.  I hope that you have enjoyed visiting our beautiful mountains, canyons, historic places, resorts, shopping, ocean and other little surprises.   It was fun to share many different teas and chocolates along the way.

The little plum pot is steeping a lovely Mary Louisa tisane made from snips of fresh lemon verbena, lemon balm and French thyme from my kitchen garden to sip from a 19th century loving cup for our farewell celebration together.

Godiva chocolate ganache.
Cheers!

I have never enjoyed a vicarious journey (tea, or otherwise) more than I have this one with you and The Traveling Teapot, Martha. Your clever creativity, eye for beauty, and intelligent text made every stop along this tour a pure delight for all the senses. We all know the amount of thought and time it would have taken to plan this itinerary, and you crafted it to perfection. Thank you for an enjoyable trip! x

Love the sunset!

Verbena with thyme? I ought to try that. I have Verbena and getting the thyme should not be hard :) Thanks!

Oh Martha,
You took us so many special places with the little teapot. I just loved our visit to your OC and all the adventures of tea and chocolate. It was quite a treat, even including the frozen banana there. But this last stop is my favorite, I just love this view of the ocean and what a perfect place to say farewell.

What a beautiful sunset to sit back and watch, and end the day with. Quite the little traveler, this teapot is. Has anyone asked if she's exhausted yet? :)

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Thank you for the many OC excursions you took us on with the Traveling Teapot, and the exquisite teas and chocolates that accompanied each excursion... the ATAA friends that were honored... the hours and hours of planning... the photo shoots... the quotes that coordinated with each post... and on and on. It was a FABULOUS month for the Traveling Teapot and for us who were privileged to travel vicariously. Raising my teacup to a very talented and creative lady!

The Mary Lousia tisane is the perfect hot cuppa to end the wonderful time that our little plum teapot had visiting you in California, Martha. What a sweet time you've had together.
