Happy First Day of Spring! My crocus are blooming, but the daffodils from the first post are still struggling with the chilly Ohio weather. Yesterday we had some snow, but no accumulation.
Little Miss Priss is getting pretty quick to snap her seat belt when I mention a tea room visit. Today we are sharing our visit to Governor Croswell Tea Room.
First Impression: This tea room is downtown Adrian on the main floor of the Hoefler building.
Tea Room Setting: The chandeliers are amazing. In the center of the room is an enormous floral arrangement.
The Table: We were seated in the front window alcove. Linens cover the tables. Cloth napkins and antique tea cups add to the ambiance.
Tea: Several tea options are available. Tea is served in a pot with the leaves in an infuser.
Menu: Many options are available at this tea room from English fare, light lunch or afternoon tea. Their high tea allows you to choose your sandwiches, scones and tarts.

Entertainment: Soft music is playing in the background.
Service: Service is excellent. I arrived close to closing time and they could not have been more accommodating.
Gift Shop: There is no gift shop, but some tea is available at the counter.
Price: High tea is $16.95. Other menu items vary.
