Busy Weekend

We kept Priscilla busy over the weekend.  The fourteen pots of tea she brewed for us included:
Eros from Tealeaves.com
The Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World serves tea from this company.

A couple pots of Raspberry Tea, which were iced
This tea is from Basically British, a tea room in Dayton, which has unfortunately closed.  We wish Terry and Vicki the best and miss them dearly.

A couple iced pots of Decaf Paris from Harney and Sons

A pot of iced Decaf Darjeeling from Tea Gschwendner

Four pots of a peppermint green tea

We held our family Oyster Supper Saturday.  My Great Great Grandparents celebrated their New Years Day anniversary with an oyster supper.  The tradition has continued through the years.
We fry the oysters.  My Grandmother always made stew as well.

Yes, the guys in our family are tea drinkers.  They like to joke around a bit.  One proclaimed it makes him "feel smarter and richer!"  They had a blast trying all the sweeteners.  I missed a photo op when they had their pinkies up.

Sunday Morning Priscilla served breakfast in bed.  No, not to my husband and I, but to our daughter and her husband.  They were celebrating their first anniversary.   This was a pot of Decaf Creme Brulee.

And late last night, after everyone had gone home, I had a pot of an herbal relaxing tea!

I haven't had the heart to wake Priscilla yet this morning, but I'm afraid it is about time.

May your teacups be filled with blessings today.

Sips and Smiles,
Teresa

Sending Happy Anniversary Wishes to your daughter and her husband. What a busy weekend for The Traveling Teapot. It was a brewing marathon.

You deserve the day off as well as the Teapot. We love oysters and your traditional celebration looks like so much fun, Teresa.

Looking forward to the continuing adventures.

Hugs,

Mary Jane

Whew! That's a lot of tea - but then that's a big family! ;-) Harney's Paris tea is in my cup this morning.
What a fun family activity for Miss. Priss to be a part of. I'm sure she enjoyed celebrating the first anniversary with the happy couple too!

My goodness! Breakfast in bed and an oyster dinner too. My mouth is watering. This teapot is definitely doing double duty serving tea with you.

It is so nice that Priscilla was able to do breakfast in bed for the young couple. What a special anniversary.
