Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum

is located at exit 62 and I-75 in Renfro Valley, KY,
just 14 miles south of my home.

The Traveling Teapot, Mary and I stopped for a visit on Wednesday.
founded by John Lair in 1939, is Kentucky's Country Music Capital.
It has been the home of the Renfro Valley Gatherin' Radio Show since 1943.

The Hall of Fame and Museum honors all Kentucky musicians,
not just country music.
The Traveling Teapot had the honor of having its photo taken
sitting on Rosemary Clooney's piano.
(with permission, of course)

If you are a faithful reader of my blog
you know that my friend Mary is a fanatic  loyal
Dwight Yoakam fan.
I have attended 2 concerts with her.
Dwight's display is, of course,  her favorite at the museum.

If everything goes according to schedule,
I will accompany Mary on a few more "Dwight adventures"
in the near future.
Sounds like a future blog post, doesn't it?

I am just laughing at the delightful adventures of this little plum teapot. How fun to sit on the piano that belonged to Rosemary Clooney.

I really enjoy seeing the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. What a lucky teapot traveler.
