Prissy says "It's a Wrap..."

4 ingredients: pre-cooked bacon, whipped cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and tortilla wraps (we like the garden spinach herb for nice color and taste)

spread cream cheese on tortilla, add bacon,
drained sun-dried tomatoes,
and roll up tightly....
for variations you can add shredded cheeses,
fresh lettuce, like we did here. You can also add spinach, thinly sliced veggies...
or a thin coldcuts, I added ham to this wrap
what ever you might have on hand
as long as you can roll them up tight
wrap in plastic wrap
here's the hard part...they are best when you refrigerate them for at least 1/2 hour or more. That makes them a easy make ahead dish you can roll them up the night before. Then all you do is unwrap them and slice them into bite size/tea party size bites. Perfect for tea parties, brunches and picnics.  We'll enjoy them later with our tea :)

(sneak peep...these I made for a picnic tea and served on my glass fan plates last Spring. I used avocados, fresh chopped tomatoes and lettuce in the these. I also cut them a little bigger size) That's a cold blueberry soup in the cup, it's so refreshing. Our theme for the tea was a Royal Tea hence the purple!

Hearts, tea & treasured cookbooks

This heart shaped strainer was a gift and it is
perfect to brew our loose tea. Let's enjoy Lady Earl Grey.
Even today with recipes easily available at the click of our laptops, I still love looking at recipes in my favorite cookbooks. Cookbooks like this one can be real treasures and useful for planning tea parties, brunches, even family meals. They are filled with wonderful recipes used in tearooms. Do you have a few favorites?
Curious Prissy looks on

This one is well used and
tucked in the back are clippings with more things to try

some are easy and fun...

and some are why didn't I think of this ?

Pretty touches

Yummy savories

Hmmm quiche looks good.
The leaves are well spent and so is the time planning tea with friends.

The Traveling Super "T"

Prissy was keeping the tea warm while I was sewing.

A simple summer dress,

and cape for birthday/costume party for my daughter, the extra fabric made capes for my grand babies "The Awesome Twosome".

While sipping my last of the brewed tea,

I noticed Prissy wanted in on the action.

She'd put on her own Super Hero Cape with

the letter "T"

Then, she was writing a script about a Traveling Teapot that serves tea one cup at a time and spreads warmth all over the world!

Lights, Action....

How Super is she!
