Stepping Stone

Heart shaped stepping stones in my rose garden and kitchen garden are such lovely daily reminders of friends who have been my houseguests.   I ask them to make a handprint and add their name and the date.

The little plum teapot is a very special houseguest so naturally I wanted a stepping stone as a reminder of its visit.  It proudly poured the water to mix the concrete.

After washing up, it graciously steeped a pot of Glenburn Estate tea .  Will you join me in a cup while I finish working on the stepping stone?

What a special, special opportunity for the little plum teapot. And what a creative hostess!

How lovely to make a stepping stone for this special visitor. And then to enjoy with Glenburn Estate tea. I will raise my cup with a Glenburn tea that arrived in my mail just today. Oh and a macaron just makes it all complete.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the teapot stepping stone -- a wonderful memento of all of the fun and adventures that you had with The Traveling Teapot. You are the consummate Hostess, Martha. All of your guests are treated like royalty. I am sure that the little plum pot enjoyed every moment!

You do the nicest and most creative things, Martha! I love the concept of a garden stepping stone made with the handprint of all your house guests.
And I love your tea cozy from Glenburn Estate too!
What a special post!

Had to post again - was just telling Miss Spenser how special your garden stepping stones were -- making them with the handprints for your house guests...she said, "She's so creative...Martha Stewart." Yes, I guess that seems to fit you really well, "MARTHA!" (smiles)

Ahh, now that's just too cute! I'm going to have to check out your handprint garden next time I'm up there.
