Do you recognize Colonel Sanders with The Traveling Teapot?
Today Wanda, Mary K, and I attended a DAR district meeting and lunch
in Barbourville in southeastern KY.
On the return trip, while passing through Corbin, we stopped at the
original 1940's Harland Sanders Cafe
where Kentucky Fried Chicken got its start.
The Sanders Cafe has been restored,
features the original kitchen and dining room,
is a museum, and a KFC restaurant.

When I travel internationally and tell folks I live in Kentucky,
their immediate reaction is "Kentucky Fried Chicken!"
It was fun for the Traveling Teapot to see a little bit
of Kentucky history!

How fun for the teapot to meet Colonel Sanders.
Oh, how awesome! Little plum teapot looks very comfortable on Colonel Sanders lap! It really is fun to read about all the neat things you are thinking of for traveling teapot and you to do.
Great pictures.
This is certainly fun!
Prissy is one lucky teapot to go to so many fun places! Love the Colonel photos.
